Today we will complete our use of the Unit 1 Exercises that we began last class.

We want to answer Question A, respond to all the tasks in Comprehensive Review Questions B, complete Matching Exercise A, and complete Group Project F for your business. Lastly, be sure you can name the three people who want to know your business story as presented in the video we watched last class period, and identify both how you want your story to look to each of them and what mandatory reporting framework (if any) is needed for each.

One of your business group should email a PDF of your completed work to my VCCS email address, which will be evaluated using our work submission rubric.

Be ready for a short quiz on this material at the beginning of class on Monday.

Over the weekend I looked at the What is Bookkeeping? documents you set me, with special attention to your list of resources at the end. It seems like I didn't adequately communicate the goal of the list. What you all sent me was links to bookkeeping software, while what I was hoping for was bookkeeping curriculum. No matter, I did some investigation on my own and found a resource we can use.

The resource is Financial Accounting, and since it is an OER resource, we can be sure to have access to it, and can even modify it to better meet our needs for this course in the years ahead.

Today in class we will watch the introductory video together, and then you will have the rest of the week to read through Unit 1 and complete Unit 1 Exercises.
