Overview
The best free online resource I have been able to find so far (until I can create my own, that is ;-) is Accounting Basics. This week we will complete the first several lessons in that tutorial.

Classwork
We'll begin class with the promised short quiz on the What is Accounting? video. Then you'll have the rest of class to finish the plays you started last class.
I had a wonderful conversation with Noah durin Archer's yesterday about how we can come up with practice data to use to learn bookkeeping. He suggested we ask and AI to generate it for us, which sounds like a marvellous idea to me!
While you work on your plays today, I'll explore doing that and let y'all know how it goes.

Classwork
After looking over the Unit 1 submissions, it was clear that you would not be ready to do well on the quiz that I had planned for today. So we'll postpone the quiz until Thursday, which will give you time to rewatch the What is Accounting? video in Introduction: What Is Accounting. The promised quiz will be at the beginning of class on Thursday.
Instead, we'll begin class by starting our bookkeeping study using Accounting Basics as our resource.
We will discuss in class how we want to approach this resources. I'm thinking we should create a mini play to dramatize the story of Joe Perez and his parcel delivery business that is used as an example.
We will decide this together during class today.
