Overview
This week we will share our presentations on the types of business entities recognized in Virginia, and begin thinking about which type you will want to use for your circle's business. We will also begin a unit on bookkeeping that you will work on while I am out next week.
Thursday and Friday, October 29th and 30th
Classwork
Ms. Magro will be in to work with period 5B on Thursday.
Students in the 4A class on Friday should read Chapter 1 in The Accounting Game together in their circles. I strongly suggest that you take turns reading through it out loud, stopping to discuss each part as you go.
Next week while I am out you will be given tasks to complete and things to email me during class.
Monday and Tuesday, October 26th and 27th
Classwork
Period 4A will start class with a special guest, Ms. Magro, our in-house NVCC guidance councelor. We'll talk about what it means to be dual-enrolled college student at Northern Virginia Community College. For period 5B, Ms. Magro will join us on Thursday.
After that we will begin sharing our Virginia business entity presentations.
I have received USECE1, USECE2, SBE1, SBE2, and GMU Teach-Ins from period 4A.
I have received USECE1, USECE2, and GMU Teach-Ins from period 5B. SBE1 came in late, and this time will earn 1/2 credit, while SBE2 will not get any credit for this assignment.
